Glenda Lagrois, CRS, GRI  Associate Broker

This personal history information is provided so that prospective clients and customers can get to know some basic information about me, my commitment to the community, and my commitment to the real estate industry.

My family, which includes three children, two boys and one daughter, moved to Sterling Heights on March 7, 1967. At that time the community was actually Sterling Township. The area was loosely known as the Utica area, which included Sterling Township, the City of Utica and Shelby Township. Our postal address was Utica and the area was then, and still is now, served by two school districts; Utica Schools and Warren Consolidated Schools.

As time went on, my children entered school. They attended Harwood Elementary, Fuhrmann Junior High School, and Warren High School, which is now closed. During the time my children were in school, I was active in their schools, attending functions, volunteering as a room mother, and participating on field trips. My time was also spent working in the Title One Program at school helping elementary students develop skills in Math and Language Arts.

As my children got older I decided to begin a career in real estate. They went off to college and graduated from Michigan State and Eastern Michigan Universities. I continued my career and my children are now raising their children in our community.

Being an active participant in the community has also been important to me. I participated in both the Cub Scouting and Boy Scouting programs. Providing financial support to local children's sports events has also been a rewarding experience for me. I received special recognition from Schuchard Elementary for my financial support of their Lego Robotics' Teams. Graduating seniors received support from my donation of cameras at their senior prom.

My company, CENTURY 21 Town & Country is the largest supporter of Easter Seals in the nation. To do my part, I have generously contributed to this program and the company's efforts each year.

Selling homes in our community is a rewarding experience for me. As a strong supporter of our community and its schools I understand that this is a great place to live and raise a family.
